Overview
Tankly Europe does not require account registration to use core features. The app may process location information, search inputs, saved stations, and usage analytics so it can show nearby fuel stations, remember your preferences, and improve product quality.
Data We Collect
Depending on how you use the app, Tankly Europe may process the following categories of information:
- Your current location, if you grant location permission, to search for nearby fuel stations.
- Search terms, selected city or place, chosen fuel type, radius, and sorting preferences.
- Saved favorites, recent searches, and selected market or country preference stored locally on your device.
- App interaction events sent through Firebase Analytics, such as screen views, searches, filters, station detail opens, favorite toggles, and directions opens.
- Technical protection signals used by Firebase App Check to help secure the app’s backend services.
How We Use Data
- To find stations near your chosen location and return relevant fuel prices.
- To remember your favorites, recent searches, selected country, and search preferences on-device.
- To understand how the app is used and improve stability, search relevance, and feature quality.
- To protect the backend from abuse and unauthorized traffic.
Location Data
Tankly Europe requests location access only when needed for “current location” search. If you prefer, you can search by city or place name instead of sharing your current location. You can also disable location access at any time in iPhone Settings.
On-Device Storage
Favorites, recent searches, selected country, and certain search preferences are stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage. This data is used to make the app faster and more convenient for repeat use.
Analytics and Service Providers
Tankly Europe uses Firebase services, including Firebase Analytics and Firebase App Check. These services may process usage events, app or device identifiers, and security signals according to Google Firebase documentation and policies.
Third-Party Maps and Navigation
When you choose to open directions in Apple Maps, Google Maps, or Waze, your route or destination request is handled by the selected third-party app under that provider’s own privacy policy.
Your Choices
- You can deny or revoke location access in iPhone Settings.
- You can clear local app data by removing the app from your device.
- You can avoid current-location search by searching with a city or place name instead.
