Overview
Tankly Europe Romania helps users search fuel prices around Romanian locations, including city-based and current-location search. The app does not require account registration to use core features.
Data We Collect
- Current location, only if permission is granted, to find nearby stations.
- Search terms, selected location, fuel type, search radius, and sorting preferences.
- On-device favorites, recent searches, and selected Romania market preference.
- Firebase Analytics events such as screen views, searches, filter changes, station detail opens, favorites, and directions opens.
- Firebase App Check signals used to protect backend services.
Location Data
Location access is used to search for fuel stations near the user. Users may also search by city or place name without sharing current location. Location permission can be changed at any time in iPhone Settings.
Local Device Storage
Favorites, recent searches, selected country, and search preferences are stored locally on the device to improve repeat use and restore the preferred search setup.
Analytics and Security
Tankly Europe Romania uses Firebase Analytics to understand app usage and Firebase App Check to help secure backend requests. These services may process usage events and technical identifiers according to Google Firebase terms and policies.
Maps and Navigation
If a user chooses directions, destination requests may be passed to Apple Maps, Google Maps, or Waze. Those third-party apps handle the request under their own privacy policies.
